II. Remittance operation process for overseas students
Go to your local bank counter overseas or use mobile cross-border online banking, select foreign currency cross-border telegraphic transfer, and do not choose RMB cross-border transfer.
Enter in full the payee, receiving bank, SWIFT code, and foreign currency account information, ensuring the spelling is accurate and error-free.
For the handling fee option, select OUR, and all transfer handling fees shall be borne by the remitter.
In the remittance message field, strictly use the prescribed format, fill in the fee category and your full name as shown on your passport, and do not abbreviate or change the fee description.
After verifying that all information is correct, submit the remittance, properly keep the remittance receipt issued by the bank, and send the electronic version to the school's finance department for filing.
After the funds enter the country, the school and the receiving bank will complete the declaration of foreign exchange income.
III. Important Notes
Only cross-border wire transfers in foreign currency are supported; please do not remit RMB directly from overseas.
